~HOW TO LIVE IN VICTORY WHEN SURROUNDED BY DEFEAT~
Did you know that God calls us as Christians, to live in Victory? On Earth. In our everyday lives.
So many people think that the promises of God are meant only for when we are in heaven. They think that defeat is just part of life and Victory is reserved for Heaven. But, that is so far from the truth! God wants us to live in Peace, Abundance, Prosperity and Health now. Our lives should reflect that of Jesus. Contrary to popular belief, Jesus did not live in lack. His every need was met. And, He had power to overcome anything that came up against Him. He truly lived a life of Victory.
He not only talked the talk, but He walked the walk. He lived a life of overflow. Our Father in Heaven blessed Him and He in turn blessed others.
I believe it is important that we, as modern day Christians model a life that non-Christians would want. It is important that we are living in Victory. Think about it. If you are a self-proclaimed Christian, yet walk into work every morning acting defeated and complaining about your job, your spouse, not getting paid enough, etc… why on Earth would a non-Christian want anything that you have?
The world is looking for Truth. Peace. Security. Prosperity. Healing. Joy. And, all of this and waaaay more in promised to us in the word of God. But, we must do our part.
We must believe. Yes, we must have faith that God’s word is true. And, it is real. And, it is meant for us now. It is not until you exercise your faith that God can act on your behalf. You see, God has given us free will. And, we can choose to believe that God’s word is current and meant for everyday live. How do I know these promises are not just meant for Heaven?
Well, let’s think about it. In Psalm 91, God promises protection from evil and harm. Will we need that in heaven? No! That is something we need now.. here on Earth! Now apply this same principle to other promises in God’s word.
You will find that Faith is the key element that brings life to God’s promises. Faith for Supernatural Provision. Faith for Supernatural Protection. Faith for Supernatural Healing.
The list of promises offered to us in the Bible is endless. Open yours up and you’ll see that Victory is yours for the taking!
